Christopher Simcox murdered his second wife Hilda Simcox 28 in 1948 and sentenced to death but reprieved.
In 1963 he murdered his third wifes sister Hilda Payton and sentenced to death but reprieved..
He stabbed Hilda Simcox with a penknife at her mothers house in Tipton, Staffordshire. He served 10 years for her murder.
On 11 November 1963 he went looking for his third wife after she left him and when he met her sister Hilda Payton he shot her in the head. He then chased his wife and her brother and shot them both but they survived. He was sentenced on 7 February 1964.
Christopher Simcox was noted for having been sentenced to death twice and repieved twice.
He died in prison.
